I'm here for art, obviously. I write poetry and song lyrics too, but I'm sure you'll see more of that IN the art, rather than posted alone. I don't plan to really write in my journal all that much, so I assume I should say a tiny bit about what it is I plan to post.
My two main comics I'm working on right now are in the manga form, one traditional Japanese and one placed in America, therefore in an American style from left to right (bah, it's been irritating....) Destiny has been running around in my head for four or so years, never letting me go, but not quite on a hight enough to get me too far on it. I know the story line, I just have to sit my lazy rear down and draw it. Basic story: Three girls, three guys in Tokyo Japan, attending East Gate Accademy, and they care called 'Those Destined' and yet they don't really know what they're destined to do. It's a fantasy/action manga with a lot of romance b/c I'm a romantic at heart. Some heavy themes in it, but I tend to like those.
My other comic at the moment is titled Underground. I don'tknow if that'll stay, and it's the one I'm currently focused on. The basic plot: four girls (one druggie, one Straight Edge, a Gothic Lolita, and a very preppy girl) are brought together under different circumstances to live together under the same room. It deals with people's tendancies to judge people on first glance and my own issues with judging in the same manner. Being sXe myself, I tend to identify with the character Elle the most, therefore she'll probably be drawn more, but she's a wee bit more extreme than me, being hardedge. Each of the characters are, for the most part, the extreme of whatever is expected out of them for their clique of life. I rather like this idea.
Anyway, that's mostly what you'll see. Some fanart I'm sure will make it's way up.

I said that's life, and as funny as it may seem
